Robot City

The students in Room 111 created and designed their own Energy Robot. With the fast-paced technology driven world we live in, the students and I discussed how they are the future generation which will most likely encounter machines/robots. The aim was to build a robot that would help solve some of the problems of our planet.

They began by writing about the shapes used to design the robot and three types of energy the robot uses to be efficient (e.g., solar energy to heat homes, electrical energy to move, etc.).
Cognizant of the fact that many students are kinaesthetic learners, they enjoyed the second part of the culminating activity, which was building the robot. We tried to uphold our school Eco Platinum status by using recycled material.

Félicitations les amis!
